Yettel appoints new Corporate Communications Director

As of 15 October 2024, Yettel’s Corporate Communications Department is led by Sándor Dávid, who will oversee the company’s internal communications, PR, CSR, and event management activities.

The 45-year-old professional joins Yettel from his previous role as Head of Communications & External Affairs at the Mercedes-Benz plant with a workforce of over 4,500 employees in Kecskemét, where he was responsible for both internal and external communications, employer branding, and government relations. In addition to internal and external communications, he will also manage Yettel’s CSR and event management efforts.

Sándor Dávid has over two decades of experience in communications. He began his career as a journalist during his university years, later transitioning to roles at local government and communications agencies. He leveraged this experience as a senior communications associate at EY (formerly Ernst & Young). Then he returned to agency work, spending two years as Head of Content Management, overseeing content marketing – including social media and native advertising – at Next Wave Europe (now Dialogue) in cooperation with Central European Media and Publishing (CEMP). Following this, he spent six and a half years at Mercedes-Benz in Kecskemét before seeking new professional challenges.

In addition to his native Hungarian, Dávid speaks German and English. A firm believer in lifelong learning, he recently took up sailing and has begun learning Thai. In his free time, he enjoys intense sports and traveling, frequently embarking on adventures in Asia with his partner, where he has developed a passion for the local culture.

Sándor Dávid replaces Attila Mészáros, who served at Yettel for five and a half years.
